A Day at Wright's Dairy Farm
Our farm is a real working dairy farm that has been servicing the
community for over 100 years.
We start our day at 4 a.m. feeding, cleaning and milking 130 Holstein
cows.
We pasteurize and homogenize the milk and bottle in plastic bottles
for sale in our retail store.
We begin baking at 4 a.m. an array of muffins, cream pastries and
ordered birthday cakes.
Store opens at 8 a.m.
A typical day would include some type of fieldwork - planning the
crops, plowing, fertilizing, planting, harvesting or repair and maintenance to buildings and equipment is another endless task.
At 2:30 we feed, clean and milk cows for the second time.
